Ramesh Rander, Managing Director of Shri Bhagirath Textiles Ltd, was conferred the prestigious ‘Life Time Achievement Award’ at the VIA & Solar Vidarbha Udyog Gaurav Awards 2022 ceremony held here on Saturday. Ramesh Rander, his wife Saroj Rander, and son Rohit Rander received the award at the hands of Justice V M Deshpande, former Judge of Bombay High Court; and Vishal Agrawal, President of the Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA).

 

Manish Nuwal, Managing Director and CEO Solar Industries India Ltd; Hakimuddin Ali, Executive Director, Dalmia Cements (Bharat) Ltd; Vimal Parwal, President Corporate, Confidence Petroleum India Ltd; and Prem Bhonge, Managing Director, CAN Group of Industries, also were present on the occasion. Apart from being a successful industrialist, Rander is also very active in social field and passionate about giving back to society. Rander is Managing Trustee of Shri Barji Bai Rander Charitable Trust; Member of executive body of Maheshwari Sewa Sangh; President of Ramratan Sarda Medical Help Society; and President of Shri Jagnath Budhwari Temple Trust. Rander completed his BCom from G S College of Law and Commerce and LLB from Government Law College in 1982. Since 1992, he has been the Director at Shri Gopal Rameshkumar Sales Pvt Ltd, which manufactures raw ginned cotton with animal oil feed which has an annual capacity of 1.5 lakh; Managing Director at Shri Bhagirath Textiles Ltd since 1996, which manufactures cotton and synthetic spun yarn and knitted fabric and rules domestic as well as international market with an annual capacity of 6000 tons; In addition, he is Director of S B Reality Pvt Ltd, which is engaged in execution of turnkey water supply projects under Jal Jeevan Mission in various States; and Director at Navkar Industrial and Logistics Park, which is involved in development of Industrial and logistics park at Bhandara Road, Nagpur.
