Amarkantak gets snowfall!

 

 

 

 

In Amarkantak, the origin place of Maa Narmada ji, on Friday morning there was a lot of snow accumulated in the entire plains and river bank areas, a sheet of snow was spread.

Snow cover was seen in many areas of the Government Park, whereas in the coastal areas of the Narmada river, there was an outbreak of scab and also in the plains of Amarkantak and Vaitarani river, Kapila river areas.

It was seen that in December and till the month of January, Amarkantak used to see a sheet of snow, but this time it did not happen. In the beginning of February, this time the sorghum accumulated and there was a lot of melting. People had to take the support of bonfire. The administration had no idea that suddenly such a sultry day would come so that arrangements for the bonfire could be made on time. It was getting cold since many days, but it was not predicted that it would freeze.
