High Court Bar Association (HCBA), Nagpur in its centenary year, has organised its annual HCBA Premier League Cricket Tournament at WCL ground. Hon’ble Justice Atul S Chandurkar, Administrative Judge, Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court was the chief guest. Shashank Manohar, Former President of BCCI and Ex-Chairman of International Cricket Council also graced the occasion. Hon’ble Justice Vinay Joshi and Hon’ble Justice YG Khobragade were also present. The executive committee of HCBA headed by President Adv Atul Pande alongwith Secretary Amol Jaltare, Pankaj Tidke, Madhav Lakhey, Pruthviraj Chawan, Vishwajeet Singh Uberoi, Bhushan Bhendarkar, Anirudh Ananthakrishnan were present on the occasion. As many as 22 teams consisting of Lawyers, Attorneys, High Court and District Court Staff are participating in the tournament. Matches are being held on WCL ground, Mecosabag ground and Vasant Nagar ground. In the inaugural match, The Granediers emerged victorious defeating The Sunrisers. In other matches Lex & Legal Logistics, Weekend Warriors and Justice League won their respective ties. Executive members Aquib Haq and Bosco Anthony are working hard for the success.
