Patil, Ali, Upadhyay, Dakshindas in SF

 

 

 

Sachin Patil, Karan Upadhaya, Ashraf Ali and Darshan Dakshindas entered the semi-finals in the 35+ age cagetory in the Gondwana-MSLTA Senior Tennis Tournament 2023. The tournament is being held at Gondwana Club. In the men’s singles above 35 years age category, Patil defeated Karan Upadhyay 7-2 and Ashraf Ali beat Kartik Trivedi 7-2. Darshan Dakshindas got the better of Khune 7-3. Earlier in the second round, Patil got the better of Laxman Pal 7-1, while Upadhaya had defeated Apurv De by an identical margin. In other matches, Rohan Chhabra defeated Abhishek Shelarkar 7-0 in a one-sided game. Earlier, the tournament was inaugurated by Pankaj Chokhani, President Gondwana Club. Aashish Khemuka, Jatin Kale, Ashok Bhiwapurkar, Vikramaditya Samarth, Dr Hemant Jahagirdar, Vijay Naidu and othres were also present.
