MATCH between SB City College Cricket Academy (SBCCCA) and Sahas Cricket Club marked opening of the AK Gandhi Memorial Under-13 Inter-Club Tournament at the former’s ground on Thursday.

The March 9-19 event is being organised by Nagpur Shikshan Mandal and SBCCCA. In all, 16 teams are participating in the tournament which are divided into four groups of four teams each. Each team will have three league matches of 30 overs. Knock-outs will be of 40 overs. Chief guest Chandrakant Manke, Joint Secretary, VCA inaugurated the tournament. President of NSM Mohit Shah presided over.

Manoj Gogte, Member of Selection Committee VCA U-14; Aniruddha Sarwate, Chairman of Umpire Committee; Dr Harish Rathi, Secretary, NSM; Achal Gandhi, son of late AK Gandhi were the guests of honour. Dr Jivan Dontulwar, Principal Mohta Science College and Mrs Yawalkar, Principal of DD Nagar School, Dr Sanjay Chaudhari and Manish Mishra were present. The function was anchored by Sandeep Neware while Dr Rahul Kharabe proposed a vote of thanks.
