Annual examination of HYU commences today

The annual examination of Hemchand Yadav University (HYU), Durg will start from Monday i.e on March 13 with 44,000 students to appear for the third year of graduation. Giving this information, the Registrar of the University Bhupendra Kuldeep and Deputy Registrar Examinations Dr. Rajmani Patel jointly informed that these examinations to be held in three shifts will continue till May 13. In the first shift from 7:00 am to 10:00 am, the BSC examination of the Faculty of Science, in the second shift from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, the B Com examination of the Faculty of Commerce and in the third shift between 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm B A examinations of Faculty of Arts will be conducted.
According to Bhupendra Kuldeep, the preparations for these examinations have been completed by the university. 70 examination centers and 9 sub-centres have been set up for this examination, adequate number of main and supplementary answer books, necessary forms related to the examination, attendance sheets and honorarium given to examiners have been made available in all the examination centres.
Deputy Registrar of Examinations Dr. Rajmani Patel told that on the first day of examination, university officials will visit various examination centers for inspection. Dr Patel said that it is mandatory for every candidate to have a valid admit card certified by the Principal or Head of the Center to appear in the examination. To curb the tendency of cheating in the examination, strict instructions have been given by the university to the principal and invigilators.
The facility of fellow writer can be provided to the disabled candidates holding the certificate of more than 40 per cent disability after taking prior permission from the university. Such fellow writer must be at least one class lower than the class of the examinee. There is a provision to give one hour extra time to the disabled candidates to solve the question paper of three hours duration. The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Dr Aruna Palta and Dean Student Welfare, Dr Prashant Srivastava while wishing all the candidates appearing in the annual examination, urged them to work hard and appear in the examination honestly
