Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited celebrated International Women’s Day in Chandrapur Cement Works premises at Naranda. Women from schools, Gram Panchayat, Sarpanches and Aasha workers, Aanganwadi workers and Police staff were invited for the programme in order to appreciate their contribution towards building society.
Dy Superintendent of Police (HQ), Radhika Phadke was chief guest of the function and members of Sankhiyan Ladies Club, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd, Chandrapur Cement Works, were guests of honour. The programme began with lighting of traditional lamp by all women. Abhishek Kumar Mishra, Head HR, welcomed the guests. All the women
invitees were welcomed by chief guest Radhika Phadke and members of Sakhiyan Ladies Club. Welcome song, mesmerising songs to motivate women and group dance by women was the attraction of the programme. The certificate of appreciation and a gift were presented to all the women for their contribution towards growth of society and country.
Dy SP Radhika Phadke, Mani Raidu, President Sakhiya Ladies Club, Ashlesha Bhusari, Vice President, Aarti Mishra, Secretary and participants expressed their views and appreciated the efforts put in by Dalmia Cement.
Lata Sachdeva of Sakhiya Ladies Club proposed the vote of thanks. Members of Sakhiya Ladies Club Veena Thakur, Leena Wasalvar, Pradnya Bhimanvar, Archana Kulkarni, Rupali Khiratkar and Mahi were present. The whole event was organised under the great leadership of Subbaraidu Ayyagari, Plant Head and Sunil Kumar Bhusari, Technical Head.
