Acceptance growing for highrise buildings: Abhijit Majumdar

Nagpur city is witnessing a huge transformation these days as highrise buildings have started to dominate its skyline. People are now accepting living in highrise buildings to experience a breathtaking view, clean air, sunshine and lower noise pollution combined with a string of the latest amenities within the premises, said Abhijit Majumdar, Director of Abhijit Realtors & Infraventures Pvt Ltd while speaking in an exclusive interview with The Hitavada.
One of the visionaries and pioneers of introducing the highrise culture in the city, Majumdar said, “The demand for highrise apartments is growing at a rapid pace. A house is something people buy once in their life time and so they want a place which offers modern community living experience, comforts and conveniences under one roof”. “Highrise is the future of urban living”, he said.
“Considering the new trend, we have launched the Jayanti Nagari 7 project in Besa that is spread over an area of 15 acres out of which 80 per cent land is open space and 20 per cent is for construction purpose. There are total 12 highrise buildings of 26 stories consisting of 1,300 units of 2BHK and 3BHK flats”, he said.
The project is getting an overwhelming response as 70 per cent to 80 per cent of the flats have already been booked.
Apart from this, we have introduced the latest technology in construction using Mivan Technology – that ensures durability of the structure without using any bricks. The State Government has introduced new rule and resgulations like the Unified Development Control and Promotion Regulations (UDCPR) which has given a boost to the high rise culture and real estate development in the city. Majumdar advises homebuyers to take precautions before investing their hard earned money while buying a home. Homebuyers should check the Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) registration number, completion date and other information of the project. They should also ensure to check on monthly basis the progress of the project.
