There is a sigh of relief for the poor patients across the State. Free treatment of all eligible patients under Ayushman Scheme will continue in private hospitals of the State. For this, the State Government has taken necessary steps, after which the operators of private hospitals have decided to continue the cashless treatment of the poor patients under the scheme.
The pending payment of Ayushman Yojana has started being released to private hospitals. After this, the operators of private hospitals changed their decision not to treat the needy under the Ayushman Yojana. Now, the treatment of Ayushman patients will not stop in private hospitals. Giving this information, the United Private Hospitals Directors Association said that the remaining payment of the scheme has been started by the government. After this the association has withdrawn its decision. In fact, due to non-receipt of the dues of Ayushman Yojana, the association had decided not to work under this scheme from April 15. Patron of the association Dr J P Paliwal said that the Government has started paying the hospitals. According to the association, this payment is being made partially.
The association had earlier released a formal press release and told that the Government has withheld a huge amount of funds for the Ayushman Yojana for private hospitals. Many hospitals are on the verge of closure due to non-payment. Now, where the problems of private hospitals are being removed by releasing the payment, the patients have also got a lot of relief.
