AMID increasing COVID-19 infection, a total of 46 new corona-infected patients have been detected in the State on Monday. This includes maximum 20 patients from Jabalpur. Apart from this, 15 new infected have been found from Bhopal, 3-3 from Sagar and Rajgarh, 2 from Indore and 1-1 from Raisen and Ujjain. Corona samples of a total of 502 patients were tested in the state on Sunday. Of these, the reports of 46 patients have come positive.
With this the number of active cases in Mahdya Pradesh has gone up to 306. In this, Bhopal has the maximum number of active cases at 109. Apart from this, 57 are active in Indore, 37 in Jabalpur, 27 in Rajgarh, 20 in Gwalior, 15 in Sehore, 10 in Narmadapuram, 9 in Raisen, 7 in Ujjain, 6 in Sagar, 3 in Khandwa, 2 in Agar Malwa and 1 in Satna.
According to the report of the Directorate of Health, the investigation report of 42 corona suspects will be released late night. The process of testing their samples is going on in the State Virology Lab. On the other hand, out of 502 samples tested on Monday, 9 samples have been rejected by the lab scientist. Also, the concerned have been advised to get the corona tested again.
10 lakh people yet to get booster dose: So far, 10 lakh people have been deprived of getting booster dose to prevent COVID-19 infection. A large number of eligible people has been left out of precaution dose. People are getting worried for vaccination due to the end of vaccine in the city. People of all ages are very upset over shortage of vaccine stock. In this regard, the vaccination officials say that only those who need precaution dose are left, but now nothing can be said about when the vaccine will come.
