THE members of the Vidarbha Taxpayers Association (VTA), in a recently conducted executive body meeting, felt the need of linking Aadhar card with property cards. The issue was discussed in length at the executive body meeting ofVTA, which was presided over byVTA President Shrawankumar Malu. The VTA members sent a memorandum in this regard to the Prime Minister, Union Home Minister, Union Communication & Information Technology Minister, Maharashtra Chief Minister and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister requesting them to implement it as early as possible.

 

Shrawankumar Malu, said that this will be another hurricane task, but when the country could handle the pandemic so effectively, it couldalsoallot unique ID to the properties and link them with Aadhar cards. Tejinder Singh Renu, Secretary of VTA, said it will expose the cases of benami property, make land records transparent, transfer process faster, bring accountability and litigation will also come down drastically
