The idea of setting up FM stations goes well with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to strengthening local dialects and languages. Meanwhile, according to an official communique, the India’s Public Service Broadcaster All India Radio (AIR), the Radio vertical of Prasar Bharati, a statutory autonomous body under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (I&B), will be organising special programs in Bailadila and Dallirajhara to mark the occasion.
