The City (District) Congress Committee on Friday organised a voters’ list revision workshop ‘Sankalp Mission 2023’ at Manas Bhavan. Addressing the workshop, City President Jagat Bahadur Singh said Mandal, Sector and Booth workers of the party are prepared to break the cycle of BJP’s invisible agenda by keeping a close eye on voters and preventing the manipulation of voter lists.
Later, Mahendra Joshi, Secretary of AICC and In-charge of Madhya Pradesh Voter List Revision Programme, explained how the booth management of Congress will break the nexus of any electoral conspiracy by coordinating between workers of the sector and the booth to monitor voters. Former MLA Sunil Jain added that Congress booth in-charges will execute physical verification of BLA voter lists by going door-to-door to add, delete or correct voter information using various forms. MLA Vinay Saxena said it is the Congress workers who contest elections on the day of polling and also ensure proper booth management. Co-incharge Vivhag Jain stated that Congress election management will be seen on the ground in the upcoming Assembly elections and Congress will win more than 150 seats. Instructor Dr Sanjay Kamle, who came from Indore, stressed the need for coordination between workers of the sector and the booth to win the election. The workshop demonstrated the Congress’s commitment to ensuring a fair and transparent electoral process.
