On the occasion of 43rd Foundation Day of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and State President Vishnudutt Sharma with all party leaders unfurled the party flag at the party office in State capital. The workers were chanting ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘BJP Zindabad’. After the flag hoisting, the party leaders listened to the PM’s and National President’s speeches. The workers celebrated by bursting firecrackers and eating sweets to each other. This day celebrated at every booth-level in Madhya Pradesh. BJP Backward Front commenced ‘Gaon Gaon Chalo, Ghar Ghar Chalo’ campaign to mark the party’s foundation day. This campaign will continue till April 14. This campaign will cover district, mandal and villages as well.
Chouhan said that BJP is continuously expanding under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. We have to keep in mind that we are not just political workers, but we have come out for the reconstruction of the nation. We are proud to be workers of a party like BJP. Under the leadership of PM Modi and National President J P Nadda, the Government and organisation are continuously moving forward, Madhya Pradesh is also following the same path. In this programme, the party’s regional organisation General Secretary Ajay Jamwal, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, State President Vishnudutt Sharma and former State President Prabhat Jha, along with party leaders and workers, listened to address by PM Modi and Nadda.
Once a sick State, Madhya Pradesh has now joined the developed states: Chouhan  Addressing the workers, CM Chouhan said that earlier Madhya Pradesh used to be a Bimaru State, our GDP used to be the worst. In the latest survey, the economy of Madhya Pradesh has been included in the 10 developed states of the country. He said that when the Congress was ruling, the per capita income in the State was only Rs 11,000, which has increased to Rs 1.40 lakh. The size of Madhya Pradesh’s total economy used to be only Rs 71,000 crores, which has now increased to more than Rs 13,00,000 crores. Madhya Pradesh’s contribution to the country’s economy was only 3 per cent earlier, which has increased to 4.6 per cent today.
At the time of Congress, there used to be 7.5 lakh hectare irrigation in the State, which has reached 46 lakh hectare today. He said that the production of wheat and cereals in Madhya Pradesh used to be 100 lakh tonnes, which has now increased to 700 lakh tonnes. Earlier, there were 70,000 km of roads, which have become 4 lakh km, today our Government has made excellent highways in Madhya Pradesh. We have become a surplus state in terms of electricity.
Chouhan said that by building 38 lakh houses, we gave them to the poor, while with the help of workers, we have ensured treatment to 25 lakh people by making 3 crore Ayushman cards for the people. He made 44.50 lakh dear Lakshmi daughters into millionaires and gave benefits to 80 lakh farmers through different schemes. He said that we have started Ladli Bahna Yojana to empower sisters, in which so far 57 lakh sisters have been registered.
The State Government is working for welfare of people along with the workers. Chouhan said that the country and the State are progressing rapidly under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In MP, the workers organised camps for Chief Minister’s public service and added 83 lakh new names in different schemes. When the development journey started, the organisation along with the Government worked to benefit the common people.
Workers determined to connect society with the organisation through service works: Sharma State President of the party, MP Vishnudutt Sharma congratulated and best wishes to all the party workers on the foundation day. He said that today the programs of the foundation day of the party are being organised at 64,100 booths. Our inspirations dedicated everything in watering this organisation. Following the footsteps of our great ancestors, BJP has become the largest political party in the world. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National President JP Nadda have talked about digitisation in organisational work and connecting youth with the party. I feel proud to inform that due to the hard work of our booth workers, more than 90 per cent booths in the state have gone digital. Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha is running a campaign to connect the youth of 18 years with the party by setting up Yuva Chaupal. Sharma also added calling upon the party workers of the state, he said that on this day, let us together make a resolution to strengthen and digitise BJP Madhya Pradesh at every booth in Madhya Pradesh and to get 51 per cent vote share at every booth in the upcoming assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
