Class 10 student killed, friends injured as car turns turtle

 

 

In a heart-wrenching incident, an eighteen-year-old boy was killed and three others were critically injured after their speeding car hit the divider and turned turtle on VIP Road. The boy took the car in the wee hours on Friday to have a ride. The Class 10 student, who was driving the car, died on the spot while three other youths in the car were injured. The student had left for a car ride at 4 in the morning on Friday along with his elder brother and 5 other friends without telling his family. ON VIP road, suddenly the car went out of control near the Khanu village intersection as the car was streaming at high speed and hit the pavement and overturned breaking the guard-rail. The speed of the car can be gauged from the fact that the car slid for about 25 meters.

At that time, Rohit was on the driving seat and he died on the spot. As of now, the cause of the accident has not been disclosed. In their preliminary investigation, the police believe that speeding of the car was the cause of the accident. After the statement of the others, the real reason for the accident can be revealed.

According to information, Rohit Vaishnav (18), son of Mukesh Kumar, lived in Aggarwal Complex, Talaiya, was a student of Bright Multipurpose School. On Friday morning, he went for a ride with his elder brother Naresh (21) and 5 friends Sadab, Arbaaz, Sammi, Faiz and Arib in a Tata SUV. Rohit was driving the car. After the car turned turtle Rohit was stuck in the car for about 4-5 minutes. Kohefiza Police Station Incharge Vijay Sisodia said that the accident took place in the early hours of Friday. The youth’s car was going towards Lalghati via VIP Road. Near Khanugaon village intersection, the car went out of control and hit the pavement. TI said that there is a slight turn at the intersection, usually drivers get confused about turning at the intersection. Due to high speed, the car left the main road and collided with the pavement. The students’ car also overturned after hitting the pavement, breaking the guard-rail.
