“MPCC President and former Chief Minister Kamal Nath has introduced a scheme ‘Nari Samman Yojana’ for women in Madhya Pradesh. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance of Rs 1500 per month and LPG domestic cylinders for women at a cost of Rs 500. The registration process for the scheme has already begun,” said MLA Tarun Bhanot while addressing a press conference, on Tuesday.

Bhanot added that the Congress party will involve all office-bearers, from the Mandalam and Sector-level up to the State-level, to help women fill out the required forms. The party workers will visit door-to-door to ensure the forms are filled out correctly and the acknowledgment receipt is deposited in the party office.

The Congress MLA further said that the form requires women to provide their general information, such as their name, Aadhaar card number, booth number, and assembly number. Bhanot stated that the scheme will be implemented as soon as the Congress Government is formed in Madhya Pradesh. He also mentioned that the Congress Government in Himachal Pradesh has already implemented a similar scheme to provide financial assistance to women and the Congress government in Rajasthan is providing LPG cylinders for Rs. 500. Bhanot assured the public that Kamal Nath always fulfills his promises, unlike Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who makes false announcements while traveling around the world. He said Nari Samman Yojana aims to empower women in Madhya Pradesh by providing them with financial assistance and easy access to LPG cylinders. The Congress party is committed to ensuring that the scheme is implemented effectively and efficiently once they come into power.
