“Smart work helped me a lot. It is important to understand the paper pattern and study consistently. A pattern and practice schedule can help one ace the exam,” said Garima Kadwe, probable Vidarbha region topper of ICSE Class 10. Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination released Class 10 examination results on Sunday.
Garima Kadwe is the student of The Chanda Devi Saraf School, Katol Road. She has scored 99 marks in Mathematics, 99 marks in Biology, 99 marks in Chemistry, 100 marks in Physical Education, 100 marks in History and Civics, 100 marks in Geography, 98 marks in Hindi, 99 marks in Marathi, and 92 marks in English. She is fond of reading, sketching and actively writes for The Hitavada’s children’s magazine, Twinkle Star.
“Apart from my 2-3 hours dedicated to revision and homework, I have studied 4 hours everyday. Pupil analysis helped me a lot,” said Kadwe. She highly recommends studying previous year’s examination papers and answers written by toppers. “My teachers’ experience counted in the preparation very much. Their experience and preparedness helped a lot,” she added. Very much influenced by her elder sister, Mahima Kadwe, who was also a Vidarbha topper, set a bar for young Garima to study well. She aspires to become an Aeronautical Engineer and study at IIT Delhi and Mumbai. She dedicates her success to her parents Madankumar Kadwe and Manjushree Kadwe, sister Mahima Kadwe, and teachers.
