CREDAI Nagpur Metro organised an educational presentation exclusively for its members on ‘Build Your Realty Brand to Build Your Profits’. Guest speaker of the day was Dr Sanjay Arora, Founder of Shell Advertising Inc. Dr Arora in his presentation spoke about the importance of brands and highlighted that brands are what customers identify and recognise. “The reason companies invest in building their brands is that strong brands command a premium and generate additional profits for the company and this is true for real estate companies too,” he said. Dr Arora presented data from the S&P study of the top 500 companies to prove that the value of intangible assets i.e. brands, as a part of a companies balance sheets has increased from 17 per cent in 1975 to 84 per cent in 2018, clearly bringing about the financial contribution of brands to the financial of the top 500 companies. He elaborated that in the real estate market there are two kinds of brands- one is the promoter brand which can be considered like the corporate brand and the other is the project brand which is similar to product brand.
It is critical that in the realty sector both are focussed on for the greater success and profitability. He summed up with a detailed case study of a recently launched mega real estate project of the city . Chief guest of the seminar was Platinum Partners of CREDAI Nagpur Metro General Manager of State Bank of India Sanjay Shrivastava along with team of State Bank of India Nagpur DGMM Narshimha Rao and others and Sudhir Ghike of Johnson Lifts along with his team. The presentation was conducted by Convener of Seminar Committee Hemal Nadiyana with support extended by Co Convener Vinod Kubde and Pratish Gujarathi under the guidance of President Gaurav Agarwala, Secretary Ekalawya Wasekar and Treasurer Ashish Londhe of CREDAI Nagpur Metro.
