Lokayukta Police, Jabalpur team trapped Development Block Education Officer while taking bribe of Rs 25,000 for preparing GPF, GIS, Gratuity and other documents of appellant at office of Development Block Education Officer, Nainpur, on Friday. The accused has been identified as M D Solanki, Development Block Education Officer, Nainpur in Mandla district.

Lokayukta DSP, Dilip Jharbade informed that an appellant named Pradeep Kumar Pandit, retired Teacher from Nainpur lodged a complaint that he was retired from the post of teacher, on April 30, 2023. He had applied for making documents of GPF, GIS, Gratuity and other documents for releasing his retirement funds. The Development Block Education Officer, M D Solanki demanded bribe of Rs 30,000 for preparing the documents. After the bargaining the deal was settled with Rs 25,000 for preparing documents. Acting on the complaint, SP, Lokayukta constituted a team and fielded the appellant for collecting evidences. Once the information was confirmed a team of Lokayukta Police Jabalpur reached the spot and trapped the corrupt government employee while taking bribe of Rs 25,000 in front of his office.
