Soni, Karnewar, Bisht and Chouksey slam centuries

 

 

TEJAS Soni, Akshay Karnewar, Varun Bisht and Vaibhav Chouksey dazzled with the bat scoring a century each for their respective sides on opening day of the MN Dorairajan Invitation Cricket Tournament at different grounds of the city. While Soni slammed 119 (116b, 14x4, 5x6) for Eleven Star, Navniketan Cricket Club’s Kanewar got retired hurt after scoring exact 100 runs (56b, 7x4, 8x6). Bisht cracked 110 (91b, 14x4, 6x6) for Medical Representatives Cricket Club while Chouksey too hammered 110 (125b, 11x4, 1x6) for All India Reporter. As for bowling, Navniketan’s Yash Kadam, Ministerial Services Cricket Club’s duo of Dipesh Parwani and Sahil Sheikh and Reshimbagh Gymkhana’s Pravin Rokade took five wickets each.
