Combine team of Police and District Administration demolished double floored illegal construction of Rs 1 crore to free 800 sq ft Government land near Katra Khermai Mandir under the jurisdiction of Adhartal police station, on Tuesday. CSP, Adhartal, Priyanka Karcham informed that listed criminal Narayan Jaiswal, a resident of Katra Khermai Mandir area is booked in total 38 crime cases of Excise Act and attack while his son Prateek is booked in 24 crime cases of extortion money, attack, Excuse Act and his another son Gaurav is booked in 3 crime cases in different police stations. Police found that the criminals have encroached 800 sq ft Government land near Khermai Mandir.
During a special campaign against land mafia, listed criminals and persons involved in chit-fund and other fraudulent activities, District Magistrate, Saurabh Kumar Suman and Superintendent of Police, Tusharkant Vidyarthi released order for removing encroachment to vacate Government land. Compliance with the direction, a combine team of Police, District Administration and Jabalpur Municipal Corporation led by senior police and administrative officers reached the spot and razed the illegal constructions to evacuate the Government land.
To avoid any kind of agitation, additional police force was deployed during the demolition work while CSP, Adhartal, Priyanka Karcham, SHO, Adhartal, Shailesh Mishra, SHO, Khamaria, Nirupa Pandey, SHO, Hanumantal and Ranjhi along with additional police force, revenue officers and JMC Anti-encroachment squad in-charge, Sagar Borkar along with his team were present.
