BJP Mahila Morcha District Working Committee meeting held

 

 

The District Working Committee meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mahila Morcha (City and Rural) was organised at party’s Divisional Office. Presiding over the Working Committee meeting, City President of BJP, Prabhat Sahu said the State Government is running a number of women-friendly schemes to improve the standard of living of women, as well as the arrangements from their birth to education, employment and their marriage. Sahu urged the member of Mahila Morcha to go among the women and make continuous efforts to benefit them by apprising the women folk about the Government schemes.

Expressing views on the occasion, Mahila Morcha State General Secretary, Ashwini Paranjpe highlighted the positive aspects of Ladli Bahna Yojana and other schemes. She said the State Government has started the scheme to bring about a positive transformation in the lives of women, who will get a monthly sum of Rs 1000 directly in their bank accounts from next month. She said women between the ages of 23 and 60 will get the benefit of this flagship scheme. Paranjpe also apprised about the upcoming programmes to be organized on completion of 9 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure. Those present on the occasion were Rupa Rao, Alka Garg, Sushma Jain, Preeti Bajpai, Archana Agarwal, Atmika Singh along with city and rural district office-bearers and workers of the Morcha.
