Motibagh FC meet Al Kausar in Raisoni football final

 

 

MOTIBAGH Football Club will lock horns with Al Kausar Football Club in final of the GH Raisoni Memorial Football Tournament organised by Sapt Maharshi Bahuudeshiya Sanstha and Unity Football Academy at NIT ground in Darshan Colony, Sadbhavana Nagar, near KDK College. In the semi-finals, Motibagh FC blanked South East Central Railways 3-0 while Al Kausar Al Kausar Club defeated Kanojiya FC 2-0.

Motibagh FC dominated the game against the railmen and took an early lead in the 12th minute when Aman Halonde scored from a right footer. The railmen managed to hold their opponents from scoring any further in the first half.

However, after change of ends, Yash Shukla displayed his skills and scored two goals in space of six minutes.

The lanky forward first bulged the net in the 63rd minute and then added another in the 69th to complete the rout.

In the second semis, Al Kausar scored two goals in the first half to beat Kanojiya FC.

Fahad Junaid and Sohrab Akhtar combined well to score the goals for the Mominpura based side. Junaid put his side ahead in the 14th minute and Akhtar doubled the lead in the 21st minute. Kanojiya FC failed to reduce the margin in the remaining part of the game.
