How could the patients get treatment in the various health institutions operating in the district when doctors and hospital staff do not remain present here. Public representatives have also raised the issue in meetings regarding the absence of doctors and staff in the past but no concrete step was taken. Due to this, Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Prabhakar Tiwari came out with his team to inspect the health institutions.
The team inspected Sanjivani Clinic in Neelbad, Primary Health Center, Ratibad and Primary Health Center, Phanda, in order to check the presence of doctors and paramedical staff in the OPD in the evening. Doctors and staff found absent during their inspection and have been served show cause notices for termination of service.
CMHO Dr Prabhakar Tiwari said that in order to provide timely treatment to the patients, the presence of staff in the health institutions is necessary at the scheduled time. During the inspection conducted in the past, action was taken when employees were not found present in some health institutions of the city. In Thursday’s action, the presence of doctors and staff in the evening OPD was checked. Action will be taken against the absent employees as per rules.
Notices have been served to doctors and medical staff: Primary Health Center Ratibad Dr Archana Jivane, Dr Deepika Jain, AYUSH Medical Officer Najbeen, Nursing Officer Niket Srivastava, Pharmacist Rajendra Ghodki, Mamta Agarwal, Ranjana Khatarkar, Lab Technician Mohan Singh Parmar Dresser, Tarannum Khan, Balo Dhurve, Vinita Solanki, Anita Kushwaha, Sushmita Chaurasia, Devi Prasad, Gaurav Saxena etc were absent. Primary Health Center Phanda- Dr Seema Agarwal, Shubhi Agarwal, Manish Mehra, Harshalata, Tejram Ahirwar and Dr R Kumar were absent.
