Though mercury has started soaring in parts of Madhya Pradesh, cyclone ‘Mocha’ sets in for speedy wind and light rain. On Monday, it was sunshine during morning in Bhopal. Wind started blowing for 40 kmph in Bhopal from 4 pm onwards. Light rain was recorded in Mandla, Seoni and a few other cities. Temperature soared to 41 degrees Celsius in Ratlam and Narsinghpur and 41.9 degrees Celsius for the first time in Indore. Gwalior recorded day temperature as 40 degrees and Bhopal, Jabalpur 38 degrees Celsius.
Weather scientists said that ‘Tufan Mocha’ would not bring heavy rainfall in MP while it will be droplets and wind only. The cyclone would have its effect in state for two or three days. State capital Bhopal would have hot weather till May 10 and day temperature would be around 40 degrees and night temperature will be around 25 degrees Celsius. Weather will be changing from May 11. Maximum temperature increased by various notches in Indore, Ujjain and Sagar. Highest day temperature was recorded in Indore as 41.9 degree Celsius. On Tuesday, light rain will be recorded in Rewa, Niwari, Anupur, Chhattarpur, Seoni, Raisen, Gwalior, Vidisha, Narmadapuram, Neemuch and Mandsaur. Temperature in Bhopal would be around 40 degrees Celsius and 25 degree Celsius. On Monday, maximum temperature was recorded as 38.7 degrees Celsius and minimum 25 degrees Celsius. Indore recorded maximum temperature as 41.9 degrees Celsius and minimum 24.5. Gwalior recorded maximum temperature as 40.2 degrees Celsius and minimum 22.2 degree Celsius. Jabalpur recorded maximum temperature as 38 degree Celsius and minimum 24.6 degree Celsius.
