Bhilai lass Aadya Pandey disciple of Dr G Ratheesh Babu Director Nrithyathi Kalakshetram secured Junior Scholarship in Bharatnatyam from

Centre for Cultural Resources and Training Ministry of Culture, Government of India for the year 2023.The scholarship will continue up to eight years from 2023 on basis of the performance and improvement in the child.

It may be noted that Aadya Pandey is only 14-years old and studying in Class 9 at DPS, Risali, Bhilai. Making Bhilai proud she has already won 12 National Awards, 5 of which was only in 2022. She started learning Bharatnatyam at the age of 4 years and has to her credit of conferred with various titles like ‘Nritya Manjari, Nritya Pratibha and Nritya Shrestha’. She was also selected by Chhattisgarh Government to inaugurate ‘Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav-2022’ by her performance. Aadya’s father Dinesh Pandey is working in Merchant Mill of Bhilai Steel Plant. She is pursuing her dance training from Nrityathi Kalashetram under Guru Dr G Rateesh Babu.
