Treatment of T-20 Tigress (Langadi) was successfully carried out at Karmajhiri Circle at Pench Tiger Reserve. Senior veterinarian Dr Akhilesh Mishra provided medicine to the tigress through dart while forest administration are keeping an eye on movement of injured tigress to ensure better treatment.

Deputy Director of Pench Tiger Reserve, Ranjish Kumar Singh (IFS) informed that during the morning safari guides of tourist vehicles found T20 tigress (Langadi) sitting near Bad Dobri in injured condition. Acting on the information of tourist guides formed the gate in-charge of Turiya and the information was immediately forwarded to officers of Karmajhiri Circle.

Learning about the information, officers concerned promptly reached the spot and contacted senior officers of Pench Tiger Reserve. Under the supervision of senior officers of Pench Tiger Reserve, senior veterinarian Dr Akhilesh Mishra reached the spot and provided treatment to injured tigress T20 through dart. It was informed that the T-20 tigress (Langadi) is around 16-year-old and forest teams are continuously monitoring the movement of tigress for her better care.
