After the hot weather, the people of State got some relief in temperature in day and nights because of drizzled at some places in State. At the same time the Meteorological officials issued warning of ‘storm cyclone Biparjoy’ in MP where the people will experience heavy rains on June 18 or 19. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Gwalior and Chambal division, strong winds would blow at a velocity of 50 Km/h or more so due to this, the effect of heat wave will also reduce in the State. Light rain forecast in Neemuch, Mandsaur, Barwani, Ratlam, Jhabua and Alirajpur. At present, Gujarat’s Kutch is highly experiencing of the natural calamity named Biparjoy.
 
On Friday, Rewa, Narsinghpur, Shivpuri were the hottest. The temperature remained at 42 degrees Celsius or more. The maximum temperature was over 40 degrees Celsius in 17 cities of the State including Bhopal, Gwalior, and Jabalpur. Meteorologists say that pre-monsoon activities will continue in the State. There may be light rain in some places but the effect of strong heat will be seen in large parts day and night. IMD Bhopal’s senior meteorologist told that on or before June 19, the centre of the low pressure area related to the storm will be around North East Rajasthan. Due to this, there will be rain at some places in western Madhya Pradesh especially in Gwalior-Chambal division. There may be heavy rains in Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheopurkalan. After this the effect will reduce. Senior meteorologist also told that Cyclone Biparjoy will reach Rajasthan likely by June 16, but it will be weakened or the pressure will remain low.
 
Due to the storm and Western Disturbance in Rajasthan, it will rain on 17, but heavy rain is expected on June 18 and 19. Pre-monsoon activity will continue in the State. Light rain may occur at a few areas, but day-night temperatures will rise in most parts. Nights will be warm in Tikamgarh, Chhindwara and Umaria. At the same time, the day temperature in most cities will remain at 40 degrees or more. Similar weather will prevail for the next two days i.e. 16 and 17 June. The weather may change from June 18. There will be light rain, but on June 19, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder, due to this there will be a possibility of temperature brings down in day and night.
