PERSONEL Department defeated Mechanical ‘D’ in the opening encounter of the DRM Cup Inter-Department Volleyball Tournament that got under way at Volleyball Court Mount Road, Sadar. In the opener, Personal got the better of Mechanical 21-10, 21-16. In another match, Operating defeated Workshop 21-15, 21-13 to earn three points from Group B.

 

Teams are divided in two groups with Personel, Mechanical D, Engineering and Electrical forming Group A while Workshop, Operating, Repair Shop Supply and RPF forming Group B. Earlier, the tournament was inaugurated by Senior Sports Officer Dilip Singh and Senior DSO and Sr DCM SECR Aditya Somkuwar. Biswajeet Dey, R Shukla, A Sarvate, S Roy, Ritesh Inumula, Amit Anthony were also present.
