RAIPUR,
IN Compliance with the announcement made by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB) will not charge any fees for examinations. This year, the CPEB is conducting a significant number of examinations. To facilitate the examinees, the CPEB website has introduced a profile creation feature, enabling easy application submission for various exams.
This system eliminates the need for candidates to repeatedly enter their information in each application. As of now, 7,80,117 profiles have been created on the CPEB website, with 12,26,024 applications submitted through this platform. Examinees were given a 20-day window to rectify any mistakes in their online profiles. However, it is not advisable to modify the profile online after the deadline for application submission, as this may result in errors in the application form. Therefore, it is now mandatory to visit Vyapam (CPEB) in person to make offline corrections to profile. A fine of Rs 200 will be charged for not improving the profile online within the provided 20-day window. This measure aims to ensure that applicants exercise caution when filling out their online applications. It is important to note that only 2182 applicants, which is a mere 0.002 percent of the total profiles, have required offline corrections through the CPEB, so far. Besides, the CPEB will also introduce a feature allowing profiles to be linked with Aadhaar, very soon. Once implemented, applicants will no longer need to visit the CPEB for offline corrections. They will be able to update their profiles online by linking them with their Aadhaar profiles.
