Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited’s Satpura Thermal Power Station (STPS), Sarni-4 of 250-250 MW installed capacity, Unit No 10 and 11 have created a new record of uninterrupted power generation for 234 days.
It is the first time when MPPGCL’s any unit has been operated continuously for 234 days. Earlier, Shri SInghaji Thermal Power Station, Khandwa Project Unit-1 had registered maximum 233 days functioning record. Satpura Thermal Power Station’s Units 10-11 uninterruptedly working since October 15, 2022. These units have also created record of Plant Availability Factor (PAF), Plant Load Factor (PLF) and minimum auxiliary consumption. Unit-10 of 250 MW registered 101.07% PAF, 97.8 percent PLF and 7.73% auxiliary consumption while Unit-11 registered 101.5 percent PAF, 98.1% PLF and 7.91% auxiliary consumption.
On the achievement of the company, State Energy Minister, Pradumn Singh, Principal Secretary (Energy), Sanjay Dubey (IAS) and MPPGCL, Managing Director, Manjeet Singh have congratulated the engineers of Satpura Thermal Power Station for creating a new record of thermal power generation and wished them for achieving new heights of quality power generation in future.
