Yash Shukla scored a brace as Motibagh Football Club defeated Kanojiya Football Club 2-0 to clinch the GH Raisoni memorial Unity Cup football title. The tournament was organised by Sapt Maharishi Bahuuddeshiya Sanstha and Unity Football Club at NIT ground, Darshan Colony, Sadhhavna Nagar. Shulka scored the opener in the 29th minute and then doubled the lead in the 56th minute to seal the deal.

 

The winning team received a purse of Rs 75,000 and a trophy while the runners-up team got Rs 50,000 and a trophy. In the girls final, Al Nasar rode on Sneha Uikey’s 33rd minute strike to pip Scordan FC 1-0. Al Nasar won a cash prize of Rs 21,000 while the runners-up team got 15,000. Nishi was named best player of the tournament (AL Nassar FC). Vedika Mourya, Sneha Uikey, Anjali Waghmare, Gunjan Gurde won individual awards in girls category. In the boys section, Priyanshu Nandeshwar, Yash Shukla, Nitin Kotulwar, Aabid Sheikh, Amit Thakur, Deepesh Bhurrewar, Chaitanya won the awards. NP Yaglewad, Additional Registrar and Secretary APMC was the chief guest of the final. Akshay R Kadhikhaye, Mohd Mobin, Savita Timande were also present. Satyan Kottulwar, Arpit Timande, Rajat Gajbhiye, Sushant Bargat, Gourav A Harde, Naren Delikar, Swapnil Gadiwan, Sagar Banode, Manmeet Pillare, Anup Bandebuche, Piyush Timande and others worked hard for the success of the tournament.
