Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Monday inaugurated the Mata Shrimati Bindeshwari Baghel Park in Bharda village (Tatenga) of Balod district, besides unveiling the statue of Mata Shrimati Bindeshwari Baghel. The CM expressed his commitment to the progress and welfare of Chhattisgarh and shared that his beloved mother, Bindeshwari Devi, always emphasised that the development of villages, the poor, and farmers is essential for the progress of the state and the nation. Baghel shared that the State Government is making every effort to uphold these principles and ensure comprehensive development in Chhattisgarh.

 

As the chief guest at the ceremony, he highlighted the successful implementation of various public welfare schemes, which have contributed to making Chhattisgarh a self-sufficient and prosperous State. Baghel also extends his best wishes to the people present in the ceremony on the occasion of the first Monday of the holy month of Sawan. During his address at the ceremony, Chief Minister Mr.Baghel announced a fund allocation of Rs 50 lakhs each for the park’s beautification and the construction of a community building within the premises. In addition, he approved Rs 65 lakh for the construction of a 3.50-kilometre road connecting the Kharkhara River to the Main Road Tatenga. Furthermore, he also announced the upgradation of the Government Higher Secondary School in Tatenga. The villagers of Bharda (Tatenga) have shown their appreciation for Chief Minister Baghel’s farmer-friendly policies and public welfare schemes by raising funds to construct the Mata Bindeshwari Baghel Park and statue. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel expressed heartfelt gratitude to the villagers for honouring his late mother, Bindeshwari Devi, by establishing the park and statue in her name.

 

He acknowledged the significant contribution of Janpad Panchayat member Mr. Rajesh Sahu and the collective efforts of the villagers in making the Bindeshwari Park and statue a reality in Bharda (Tatenga) village. The Chief Minister sincerely thanked them for their dedication and support in this endeavour. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel highlighted the state government’s consistent efforts towards the welfare of all sections of society over the past four and a half years. He emphasised that even during the challenging period of the pandemic, the state’s development momentum remained uninterrupted. Chief Minister Baghel praised Collector Kuldeep Sharma for his efforts, and prior to attending the programme in village Bharda. Parliamentary Secretary and Gunderdehi MLA Kunwer Singh Nishad highlighted the remarkable development projects and schemes implemented by the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Baghel for the welfare of the state.
