SAGES Ghughwa students excel in IDE Bootcamp held at IIT Guwahati

Swami Atmanand English Medium School (SAGES) Ghughwa students invented a unique device to prevent theft of petrol so that theft of petrol by petrol pumps can be stopped. They presented this model at the Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp on behalf of Ministry of Education Innovation Cell (MIC) and All India Council for Technical Education (ICTE). The event was held in 6 zones of the country from 22nd to 26th June in which the project Smart Vehicle made by Ayush Joshi and Purvesh Nishad, students of SAGES Ghughuwa (A) Patan, was selected for IIT Assam Guwahati.
 
In which 60 college and school teams and 150 students from different provinces of the country participated. Out of which the prototype smart vehicle made by them got the first place. Earlier also they had won first prize and Rs 15,000 cash in National Technical Fest 2.0 organized by OP Jindal University Raigarh. The winners were also qualified for a grant opportunity from the Ministry of Education to develop their project. All the work was done under the guidance of their teacher and in-charge of Atal Tinkering Lab Maria Jasmine. In this Bootcamp, the students were given training related to entrepreneurship and innovation by eminent entrepreneurs and scientists of the country, which was very important and interesting. For this, the Collector Pushpendra Kumar Meena also congratulated the children and the school management and asked them to continuously work on such innovative ideas while assuring all possible help for such programs from the district administration.
