Aishita bags bronze in national chess tourney

 

 

AISHITA Chhabda of Class 12, Centre Point School, Katol Road bagged the second runner-up position winning a bronze medal in the SGFI Nationals held at Thyaaraj Stadium, New Delhi. She was the only player to be selected from Nagpur for the U-19 girls team of Maharashtra. The meet was organised by School Games Federation of India and DSO National School Games. Aishita scored a commendable 5.5 out of 7 points. She was awarded a medal and a certificate of achievement. She strikes a wonderful balance between her love for the game and her academics. Shilpee Ganguly, Director Principal, CPS and the sports department lauded her performance.
