Police conduct flag march ahead of festivals

 

 

 

Jabalpur police are on high alert and are maintaining a vigilant eye on suspicious elements and activities to maintain law and order arrangements in the district on the eve of Muharram festival, on Friday night. Police team conducted a flag march in sensitive areas and main market places to declare alert for the anti-social elements. Under the direction of Superintendent of Police, Tushar Kant Vidyarthi and Collector, Saurabh Kumar Suman, under the supervision of Additional SP (City), Priyanka Shukla (IPS), Additional SP (South), Sanjay Kumar Agrawal (IPS), Additional SP (Crime), Summer Verma, Additional SP (North/Traffic), Pradeep Kumar Shende, Additional SP (Rural), Shivesh Singh Baghel, gazetted officers, administrative officers and SHOs of different police stations were present during the flag-march.

 

Besides this, additional patrolling mobiles including mobiles of SHOs, tiger mobiles, First Response Vehicles (FRVs) and PCR mobiles have been deployed for rigorous patrolling in Bahorabagh, Beoharbagh, Raddi Chowki and other sensitive areas. In order to keep vigilant eye on suspicious elements and activities, police personnel have been deployed in civil dress in sensitive areas. District police is paying special attention on strengthening its information network and monitoring of anti-social elements and their activities. In case of finding any suspicious activity, cops will promptly inform the police control room and senior officers. SP, Tushar Kant Vidyarthi has extended appeal towards residents to avoid any kind of rumor and immediately contact at their nearest police station in case of finding any kind of objectionable person or activity in their surrounding.
