In view of the proposed visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Sagar on August 12 for the bhoomipujan of Sant Ravidas temple, senior officers visited the venue of the programme to take stock of the preparations. IG Pramod Verma, Collector Deepak Arya, SP Abhishek Tiwari and other officers visited Badtuma and Dhana where function will be held. They issued instructions to the officers. On the occasion, SDO Vijay Dehariya, ASP Jyoti Thakur, ASP Vikram Singh Kushwaha, City Magistrate Rajesh Singh, Tehsildar Rohit Raghuwanshi, Durgesh Tiwari and other officers were present. In view of the bhoomipujan of Sant Ravidas temple with cost of Rs 102 crores, Prime Minister Narendra Modiis likely to visit hence district administration has started making preparations. Collector Depak Arya, S.P Abhishek Tiwari visited Badtuma and Dhana area and also held discussion with officers from Bhopal who arrived at the venue.
Collector Deepak Arya has informed that waterproof tent would be installed at the venue in view of rainy season. Arrangements for seating of one lakh people would be done. On August 12, Samratsa rally from all over State will reach Sagar. Hence, a large gathering in this procession will arrive. At the venue of the function, all required arrangements are being made. A temporary hospital will be set up which would have doctors, paramedical staff, ambulance. Drinking water would be arranged. Mobile toilets for gathering have been arranged. SP Abhishek Tiwari informed that additional police force will be deployed and separate team have been formed for the whole programme. A police chowky is also being set up at the venue. Security arrangement at the venue would be done through drone and cctv. At Badtuma and Dhana helipad, fire brigade would be deployed.
