A mixed effect of the weather was seen in Madhya Pradesh on Monday. It rained heavily in Bhopal for about half an hour on Monday afternoon. Later, the sun came out in the evening. At the same time, rain was also recorded in Satna, Betul and Chhindwara. Here, in many cities of the State, there was an increase in the day temperature on Monday. The temperature was recorded at 34.4 degrees Celsius in Bhopal, 33.1 degrees Celsius in Indore, 36.7 degrees Celsius in Gwalior and 36.3 degrees Celsius in Jabalpur. The mercury crossed 32 degrees in most of the cities. The highest temperature was recorded in Khajuraho and Narsinghpur. Here the mercury reached 37 degrees. The entry of monsoon may have been delayed in Madhya Pradesh, but it has rained 13% more.

Now it is expected from July. This month has a trend of one-third rainfall of the entire monsoon. For example, there is 39 inches of normal rainfall in Bhopal, then 14 inches of rain occurs in July. Jabalpur is the only city among big cities, where it receives maximum rainfall of more than 17 inches. However, last year Bhopal received more than 34 inches of rain. In the first week of July, due to no-active monsoon system, there is no chance of heavy rains, but there is a possibility of heavy rains in the second week. This is expected to be due to the new system being activated from July 4.
