CombineD teams of Economic Offences Wing (EOW) Jabalpur and Sagar unearthed disproportionate properties amounting to Rs 2 crore from Food Security Officer Amrish Dubey during raids at five places at Jabalpur and Sagar districts, on Friday. Acting on a tip-off, DSP, EOW Jabalpur, A V Singh conducted a secret investigation and confirmed the information. It was found that Amrish Dubey was earlier posted in Jabalpur and is currently posted in Sagar. Thereafter, combined teams of EOW Jabalpur and Sagar conducted simultaneous raids at residences of Amrish Dubey situated at Shatabdipuram Star Park in Jabalpur and another residence in Sagar.

 

In the raids, EOW teams found the two residences include one triplex of Rs 90 lakhs, a plot of 2400 sq ft of Rs 65 lakhs at Shatabdipuram in Jabalpur and another residence in Sagar, two luxury cars, investment document of Rs 90 lakhs in a sugar mill in Narsinghpur, two plots and a bank locker in Narsinghpur while documents of accounts in different banks were found from residences. IN the initial estimation of properties, investment and deposits, EOW found that the government officer has properties above 600 percent from his total earnings during his services. Further investigation and scrutiny of documents may reveal more disproportionate properties with the Food Security Officer, Amrish Dubey. It may be noted that Amrish Dubey was appointed in Government Service during year 2008 and got first posting in year 2011.
