Nagpur teams start with victories

NAGPUR teams made solid starts to their campaign in the GH Raisoni memorial MahaBasket 3x3 State Basketball Championship that got under way at Shivaji Nagar Gymkhana courts from Friday. Bull Dude and Garuda Gladiator, both girls teams from Nagpur in U-18 age category, Ball Temperers in boys section recorded victories over their respective rivals. In men’s section, Nagpur’s NASA to moved up with win.
Earlier, the tournament was inaugurated by Shreyash Raisoni of the GH Raisoni Sports and Cultural Foundation. On the occasion, President of Maha Basketball Association Dhananjay Welukar, Secretary of Nagpur District Basketball Association Bhavesh Kuchanwar, MBA Secretary Shatrughna Gokhale, Treasurer Jayant Deshmukh and other members of NDBA were present.
