Sarvadharma Prarthana Sabha organised in city for peace in Manipur

A Sarvadharma Prarthana Sabha (All-Religion Prayer Meeting) was organized in the city, on Monday for establishment of peace in Manipur and the country. People from all walks of life participated in the meeting. They also took out peace march from Hanuman temple, Vehicle crossing Ranjhi. Speaking on the occasion, representatives from various communities said there has been violence in Manipur for over three months, with women being subjected to heinous crimes and entire female population being disrespected.
 
They said people of Sanskardhani, who are peace-loving, decided to take a peaceful march led by religious leaders of all faiths for establishment of peace. Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians and others participated in the march. Mayor, Jagat Bahadur Singh also joined the peace marchers, who were carrying the national flag to spread the message of peace. The march ended at Ravan Ground, where an interfaith prayer meeting was organized by all religious leaders to establish peace in Manipur.
 
On the occasion, people wished for the end of violence in Manipur and for peace in entire country. Pastor Dr. P Augustine Ray from Christian community, Shaquile Hindustani from Muslim, Jagjit Singh Dua and Babu Sarna from Sikh community and others led the prayers. Those also participated in the meeting and march were Anurag Tiwari, Raghu Tiwari, Harish Ahirwar, Ashutosh Vatsa, Siddhant Jain, Monindra Tiwari, Jagjit Singh Dua, Shan Kumar, Samarpreet Singh Nagi and others.
