The Dharampeth Mahila Multi-State Co-operative Society Limited, Nagpur has created a new record as the number of its society has reached 1.10 lakh mark on August 10. The society run by ladies has achieved this milestone based on its quality services in the highly competitive banking sector. The society, that has successfully completed its 29 years of operation and entered into 30th year, is offering its services through its 29 branches in three different states. Out of these, eight branches and its main office are located in its own properties. The society has also managed to get ‘A’ category in the audit right from the early days. In addition to this, the society offers lockers in all its branches. It is the fist society which offers unique golden lockers with the facility of lights. There are 29 power bill collection centre run by the society.

 

The Dharampeth Mahila Multi-State Co-operative Society has received international standard ISO 9001-2015 certification. Further, the society and Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) are now Insurance Business Partner. It has also got the recognition of LIC Premium Point and accepts premium, says a press release issued here. The society has started ‘Bachpan Banking Sanskar Yojana’ for kids up to 12 years with an aim of inculcating the habit of savings among them. There are various others schemes for the customers, said Sarika Pendse, Vice Chairman of the society.
