Following directions of Central Government, a nationwide campaign ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is being carried out across the country. Under the initiative, a massive effort to hoist national flag, symbolising the pride and honour of the nation, in every household, shop, institution and Government building is being undertaken. The district and Jabalpur Municipal Corporation administration have jointly launched a large-scale awareness campaign to involve public actively in making the campaign successful.
On Saturday, Collector Saurabh K Suman, Municipal Commissioner Swapnil Wankhade, CEO of District Panchayat Jayati Singh, Deputy Collector Sher Singh Meena, Nisha Singh and others took lead in promoting Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The campaign conducted across various markets, schools and public places in several areas. The event was conducted by Brand Ambassador of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Aradhya Tiwari along with Pathya Sahitya Academy, Manthan Shree and Sneh Nagar Vikas Samiti.
Brand Ambassador Aradhya Tiwari along with Sneh Nagar Vikas Samiti President, Vinod Dubey and other officials distributed posters and encouraged people to participate in the campaign by taking selfies and uploading photos during the campaign duration from August 13 to August 15. They visited a number of areas of the city including Gol Bazaar, Wright Town, Sneh Nagar, Gorakhpur, Rampur, Malviya Chowk, Super Market, Ganjipura, Kachhiyana, Bada Fhuhara, Sarafa, Dikshitpura, Baldevbag, Ukhari Road, Kamla Nehru Ward, promoting the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign. Municipal Commissioner Swapnil Wankhade along with Deputy Commissioners, Additional Commissioners, Executive Engineers, Deputy Engineers, Assistant Commissioners and all departmental heads, as well as divisional officers are actively engaging in the field, motivating citizens to proudly hoist the flag in every home.
