Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan garlanded the statue of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee near Shaurya Smarak Chauraha. State BJP President VD Sharma, Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang, MLA Rameshwar Sharma, Bhopal Mayor Malti Rai, MLA Krishna Gaur, Sumit Pachauri and many dignitaries were present. Chouhan recalled contribution of Atalji. He said that the whole country adores Atalji. Whether one agreed or disagreed with him, everyone flocked to him. His life was impeccable.

 

As the Leader of the Opposition and as the Prime Minister, he rendered memorable service to the motherland. Following the path shown by him, Prime Minister Modi is engaged in building a powerful and prosperous India. Chouhan while mentioning contribution of Ramakrishna Paramhans on his death anniversary said that he created a personality like Swami Vivekananda. Chouhan recalled the role played by Rani Avanti Bai in the freedom movement on her birth anniversary. He paid floral tributes to Veerangana Rani Avanti Bai at Avanti Bai intersection located at Mata Mandir. Many public representatives were present.
