PJL executing several water conservation projects in 18 villages

 

 

Prism Johnson Limited is determined to carry out CSR activities in the areas surrounding its project so as to bring about overall development of the area. PJL is actively taking up water conservation activities in the area. In 18 villages of 10 village panchayats, many project of water conservation are being executed by PJL. PJL, AGM, CSR and PR Devendra Mishra informed that under guidance of MP Tripathi, President (HRM and Corporate Affairs), these activities are being done. For underground water conservation, PJL is undertaking construction of single and double bore water harvesting structures. For conservation of rain water, perforate drum based water conservation structures are being constructed. This years, 4 single and 2 double bore shaft water conservation structures were completed.

 

At Satri pond, Bhankarpur pond, Tikuri pond, Belhati pond, single bore shaft. Then double bore shaft structures were constructed at at village Matha in Ramwan pond, at Pokhri pond at village Mahurach. At village panchayats Hinoti and Chormori village panchayat, for rain water conservation, 100 perforated drum based water conservation structures have been constructed. Under which rain water from roof of houses are being send back to earth through perforated drum structure, this efforts is being made in a bad to increase ground water level. In earlier years also, 24 single and double bore shaft water harvesting structures in surrounding areas were done. 800 perforated drum based water conservation structures were also constructed. These water conservation activities by PJL would be continued in coming year also.
