Bhopal police officials greeted cops who are going to get their weekly off on Monday. Police officials encouraged their subordinates to enjoy their time with family on the day. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had recently announced a mandatory leave for policemen. On Sunday, officials called traffic cops and offered flowers to them. These cops include men and women who will be enjoying their weekly off, on Monday.

 

DCP Traffic Padmavilochan Shukla said that 70 policemen from Traffic Department were greeted on the day. Similarly, cops in police stations will also get their off from Monday. Police Department has made a roaster for offs and it is applicable from Monday. Policemen were elated to get the leave that they need in their busy schedule. Policemen hardly get any leave while they are in field. They work tirelessly and it affects their health and also their personal lives. The CM’s announcement for weekly off is likely to reduce their stress and they may serve the department in a better way.
