Samajik Samrasta Sangathan has organised a grand and historical ‘Kajaliya Mahotsav’ in Sanskardhani, on Thursday. More than 75 social, educational and business organisations participated in the event. Addressing a huge gathering on the occasion, invited saints highlighted that Indian festivals symbolise social tolerance and harmony. These festivals promote unity among people of all castes and creed. Kajaliya Mahotsav is also rooted in this tradition, carrying collective fragrance of coordination, goodwill and refinement. This essence spreads throughout our hearts and minds, stringing together, they said. Expressing views on the occasion, President of the Organisation Sandeep Jain shed light on the purpose and coordination of the programme.
He said in our country, festivals have always been celebrated as moments of festivity and Kajaliya Mahotsav is one such occasion that awakens spirit of harmony and connects new generation with their culture, further strengthening mutual respect and harmony. A number of saints, including Swami Raghavdevacharyaji of Sukhanand Dwar, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Akhileshwaranand Ji, Narsingh Peethadhishwar Dr Narasimhdas Ji, Gupteshwar Peethadhishwar Dr Mukunddas Ji, Chaitanyanand Ji of Baglamukhi Peeth, Mahant Dr Radhechaitanya Ji, Sadhvi Gyaneshwari Didi Ji, Kinnar Mahamandaleshwar Himalangi Sakhi, Sadhvi Sampurna Ji and many other revered saints and scholars.
The programme commenced with lighting of traditional lamps by saints, followed by auspicious chants led by Pt Vasudev Shastri and Pandit Rohit Dubey. Eminent amongst those present in the programme were MLA Ashok Rohani, Vinay Saxena, Vinod Gontia, Dr Jitendra Jamdade, Prabhat Sahu, Sharad Jain, Anchal Sonakar, Neeraj Singh along with people from all sections of society, women and the youth.
