Newly-elected office-bearers of BSP-OA celebrate victory

 

 

NEWLY-elected office-bearers of Officers’ Association (OA) of Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) celebrated the victory following the counting of votes was over at Bhilai Club on Friday late hours. Among the newly elected OA office-bearers N K Banchhor and Ankur Mishra were elected unopposed for the post of President and Treasurer respectively after withdrawal by the sole rivals for the respective positions. The election featured polling for the positions of BSP-OA General Secretary and Zonal Representatives (ZRs) across 17 zones as the candidates in 11 zones were elected unopposed. As per the results, Parvinder Singh Senior Manager (Coke Oven) reelected comfortably for the post of General Secretary in the election as he garnered 1536 votes while his rival M Shriniwas, Assistant General Manager (L&A) was polled 304 votes.
