Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Bhopal on Thursday for a short stay. Home Minister Dr Narottam Mishra and Medical Education Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang along with Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Director General of Police Anil Kumar and other public representatives and army and police officers warmly welcomed Prime Minister Modi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the State hangar at 9:50 am by Air Force One special plane. From here the Prime Minister left for Bina in Sagar district by army helicopter. There he will perform bhoomipujan of the petrochemical complex costing of Rs 50,000 crores and other industrial areas. On the arrival of Prime Minister Modi, MLAs Rameshwar Sharma, Krishna Gaur, Mayor Malti Rai, Lieutenant General Vipul Singhal, Ramkunwar Navrang Gurjar and other public representatives and senior officials were present on the occasion of welcome at the airport.
 
Ministers along with public representatives, officials bid farewell to PM Modi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was accorded a touching farewell from the State airport. Modi was accorded farewell by Home Minister Dr Narottam Mishra and Medical Education Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Director General of Police Sudhir Saxena along with public representatives, senior administrative, army and police officers. Modi reached the State airport by army helicopter after inaugurating the petrochemical complex and various industrial areas at Bina in Sagar district. Prime Minister Modi left for Raipur Chhattisgarh by Air Force One special aircraft at 2:15 pm. MLA Rameshwar Sharma, Mayor Malti Rai, BMC Chairman Kishan Suryavanshi and presidents, vice-presidents of various corporations and boards etc. were present.
