Regarding Congress’ proposed Jan Aakrosh Yatra, Prahlad Patel said the Congress is only imitating, BJP, on the other hand, carries out works

Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries and Jal Shakti, Prahlad Singh Patel during an informal talk with the media, on Saturday accused the Congress party of consistently refusing to listen to the truth. He said the Emergency imposed in 1975 served as the most unfortunate example where voices were not just suppressed but completely silenced. Even today, they (Congress) seem to be trapped in the misconception. Patel said several senior journalists said they have never witnessed such actions in their lives where a party or coalition bans journalists. The criticism against it falls short of the condemnation it deserves. He said the Congress is in an Emergency mindset, and MP Venugopal’s statement is an endorsement of that, within INDI Alliance.

Regarding Congress’ proposed Jan Aakrosh Yatra, he said the Congress is only imitating. BJP, on the other hand, carry out our work. Before every election, the party seeks blessings of people and conducts Jan Ashirwad Yatra. “BJP is the only party that goes among people before completing five years in power. That is our commitment. The Congress does not have anything like that. The Congress will only try to imitate us,” added Patel. On Congress proposed to give Hindutva touch to their ensuing Yatra, Patel said Kamal Nath should first step out of Chhindwara. He should try break the silence of his leaders like Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi on serious issues and then talk about the saffron ideology. Many people can imitate such tactics during election, he said.
